Connaught allows you to visit many interesting historical places along with great Beaches, Mountains, Forest Parks, Busy towns and cities, Cycle Paths. Westport town is a hive of activity and a must on a vist to Connaught along with a visit to Galway and the Gaeltacht, the Irish Speaking area of Connaught.

zu wenig davon gesehen; Das Dorf Cong ist schön; Ashford Castle von aussen gesehen, ist imposant

The region is typical Irish midlands. Lots of small farms with a few cattle. The river Shannon is now an under used tourist attraction. It is very peaceful and restful with its slightly living in the past feel.

Loved the Connacht region. Loads to do! Lovely scenery, activities, walks and beaches
