When you arrive at the campsite, you choose the pitch you prefer. There are two types of pitches: at the front of the campsite, you will find units surrounded by wooden fences, while further down towards the fjord is the meadow area, where you can enjoy views of the fjord and the morning sun. Electricity is available on all pitches, and tables are placed around the campsite for guests to use, for example if you are staying in a tent.<br>The campsite offers great facilities for family camping with two playgrounds, an activity room, indoor swimming pool with sauna, water slide, and children’s pool. There are also opportunities for fishing, watersports, walks, hiking, and cycling in the area. Canoes and SUP boards can be rented, and the area by the fjord also provides good conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Dogs are welcome, and the campsite includes a dog agility course and dog wash area.<br>Here, your holiday days can be shaped according to your mood and the weather. Some days are spent playing and swimming, others on trips to the beach, along the fjord, or out into the dune landscape. It is a down-to-earth camping holiday with nature close by.</p>

• Pitch + motor home outside the gate

  <p>The motorhome area outside the barrier at Thorsminde Camping is an ideal choice for those travelling by motorhome and looking for a simple stop close to both the fjord, the sea, and the nature of West Jutland. Here, you stay outside the campsite barrier system, allowing you to arrive and check out at any time of the day. Payment can be made online at www.thorsmindecamping.dk or in cash envelopes at the motorhome service building.<br>The area can be used without reservation, and flexible arrival times are possible. Your stay includes access to toilets and showers, emptying of chemical toilets, wastewater disposal, fresh water refill, and waste disposal facilities. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for an additional fee. There is also an electricity package available if needed. Dishwashing and cooking take place in your own vehicle, and check-out is no later than 12 noon.<br>As a guest, you can combine the practical aspects of motorhome travel with the area’s nature and activities. Thorsminde Camping is located between the North Sea and Nissum Fjord, offering good opportunities for walks, hiking, fishing, and watersports.<br>The campsite also has an indoor swimming pool with sauna, water slide and children’s pool, activity room, fitness room, playgrounds, and dog agility area. If you wish to use these facilities, you must book a stay at the campsite. It is also possible to rent SUP boards and canoes at the reception.
