Delightful campsite in the most scenic setting. Very friendly staff, and free WiFi by the office. St Gervais les Bains is a very pretty town.
The pitches are not enclosed, but this didn’t cause us a problem.
Shoe racks by the entrance to showers meant the floors were kept clean.

The site is a couple of miles outside St Gervais. In terms of view it was one of the best sites we have ever stayed on. The pitches were a generous size but only defined by a pitch number so the site was very open and there wasn't a lot of shade but trees would have spoilt the view. It was a quiet site when we were there. The owner in reception spoke English and was very helpful and friendly and had a small shop but there was hardly anything in it in May and they didn't do bread to order until June. Just outside the site was a hotel/restaurant which did take away pizza. The site's grass seemed to be mown every day. There was a small play area and behind our pitch a fast flowing small stream. We went for a week and stayed three which sums up what we thought of it.
We are planning to go back this year which is how I found that my review wasn't on here.

Absolutely great location with a view of the Mont Blanc massif. We had a nice, level and clean pitch with enough space. The staff was super friendly and helpful and everything was well kept and maintained, really nice camp site. Facilities were cleaned regularly and showers really spacious.

Relaxed site with great views and easy access to chamonix. Spotless toilets and showers and large pitches.

The welcome was great and the folk at reception were always helpful. The facilities were fine - clean with plenty of hot water. The pitches are not well defined but it seemed to work out well enough when we were there. Bread is available at reception (&wifi access there too). St Gervais is not too far from the campsite and has a variety of supermarkets, bars, shops erc. You can catch the Tramway de Mont Blanc from there and that is a great trip if that sort of thing appeals. There are plenty of other things to do in the area including a good variety of walks. The star attraction here, other than the very good staff, is the location and view from many of the pitches - watching the early and late light on the mountains is stunning. We plan to go back there.

lovely unique site at foot of Mont Blanc ideal for couples ,families ,hikers and lovers of the contryside,beautiful views,and the best bread ever ,although no restaurant on site within 20 minutes walk of village with good bars and restaurants.

stayed for nearly 2 weeks at this lovely campsite,30 minutes walk from village with shops and restaurant,great ever changing view of Mont Blanc,staff were very friendly and spoke English ,best ever tasting baguettes fresh every morning ,

This is a beautiful, well run and organised site in a stunning location with mountain views all round. The pitches are large and well tended. The toilets/showers were extremely clean and well maintained with plenty of hot water. The owners could not have been more helpful. We had problems with our electric which they came out in the pouring rain to sort out for us. Free ice and deckchairs on the sunbathing lawn were a nice touch. There is a bar/restaurant next to the entrance serving traditional Alpine food as well as steaks etc and a bus stop outside the campsite for visits to the surrounding area. A site we will definitely return to.

What a gem, called in for a night and stayed a week. Large open, level pitches with stunning views of snow covered mountains. Fresh herbs available to pick. Free ice available. Toilets and showers of the highest standard. St Gervais and surrounding area full of interest for walkers and equally accessible by car.

A beautiful site with wonderful views all around. A really good base from which to explore the surrounding mountain ranges. Many trips to the mountains via cable car, tramway etc so easy to chose one to suit the individual situation and price etc. The bakery in the town of Saint Gervais has amazing cakes.
